What sort of situations do you investigate?
LS Intelligence operates mainly in the corporate environment.
We undertake investigations for insurance companies, self-insurers, government, large corporate entities including utility providers, and similar State-run institutions.
Are your investigations accepted as part of the legal process?
Our investigations are initiated both before and during litigation. In both cases they can be used as evidence. Our advantage is that our reports are independently compiled by experts. The reports therefore provide strong evidence when used in court.
How much does an investigation normally cost?
The cost of an investigation will vary depending on various factors including subject matter, volume of work required, duration, and what outcome is being sought. For each dollar spent on an investigation our clients can save on average between $5 and $10 in claim costs. Sometimes the savings are significantly greater.
Do you have your own investigators?
LS Intelligence employs only the best and most experienced government licensed investigators to undertake all our investigations. Unlike most other companies in the investigation industry the vast majority of our investigators only work for us. This allows us to hone their expertise and ensure that investigation resources are available to be allocated where and when required.
How long have you been working in this field?
Our Managing Director Steve Castrisios has been working in investigations since 1995. He is a qualified barrister and solicitor with significant experience in personal injury and insurance litigation. LS Intelligence has been investigating matters for over 25 years. How long does an investigation take to complete??
LS Intelligence has the resources and expertise to complete investigations in an efficient, timely, and comprehensive manner. The time taken can vary from case to case. This can be due to external factors including the availability of witnesses or limitations on our ability to access an accident site. Other factors such as obtaining required permissions from relevant legal advisers, privacy considerations, or complying with legal requirements can also affect this.
